Barbara truly captures the Rotarian spirit in all ways. She is a true Rotarian, through in and throughout. She endlessly volunteers for each and every event we do, and follows through to the end. She truly epitomizes “Service above Self”. She is more than deserving of Rotarian of the Month.
ROTARY BOARD MEMBER – Barbara has been on the Rotary board for 3 years. She has never missed a meeting, and always show up smiling, and ready to volunteer.
THANKSGIVING SENIOR LUNCHEON CHAIR – Barbara pulled off a magnificent Thanksgiving luncheon for over 75 seniors from Sausalito, California. All food was donated and prepared by Rotary club and Sausalito Woman’s Club, and Barbara coordinated over 50 volunteers to pull off the entire feast along with entertainment.
GALA COMMITTEE CHAIR – Barbara has been our Rotary Gala Chairwoman several times. Our event is always partnered with another non-profit in Sausalito, and this takes literally a hundred hours or more to co-ordinate. She is unstoppable!
DELIVERING MEALS TO SENIORS – Our club has recently been delivering meals each week to our seniors in Sausalito. Barbara not only helps to deliver, but prints out all the labels to make it seamless!
ROTARY CHORE DAYS – Barbara participates in each of our “Rotary Chore Days” from cleaning the bay to replacing light bulbs in senior apartments.
PLANNED AND ORGANIZED CLUB HOLIDAY PARTY – Each year Barbara organizes our Holiday dinner, for 75 of us – from dinner to dancing, it is flawless!
