Ever wonder how your Rotary Club can connect and collaborate with fellow Rotarians in West Africa (or somewhere else in the world)? One easy way is to attend a Project Fair!
A Rotary Project Fair is a special event organized by Rotary clubs or districts to showcase community service projects and foster partnerships. This fall, nine Rotary districts in West Africa (spanning 14 West African countries) will host the "West Africa Project Fair" (WAPF) to foster connections, share innovative project ideas, and secure essential support for community service initiatives.
This year's WAPF, scheduled from October 29 to November 5, 2024, in Accra, Ghana, marks the first-ever hybrid edition, allowing participants to join both virtually and in person.
Here’s why WAPF is a must-attend for all Rotary clubs in West Africa:
- Access to Funding Opportunities: Engage directly with potential sponsors, donors, and Rotary partners worldwide who are eager to support impactful projects.
- Collaborative Environment: Connect with fellow Rotarians to exchange ideas, best practices, and insights to enhance the effectiveness and reach of your projects.
- Expert Guidance: Benefit from the expertise of experienced Rotarians and project managers. Learn about the application process for District and Global Grants and receive valuable tips on proposal writing, project planning, and management.
- Hybrid Format: Participate either in person or online, ensuring that geographical limitations do not hinder involvement. This format promotes international service opportunities for all participating clubs.
The WAPF Host Organizing Committee invites all clubs in every district to join the 2024 WAPF in Accra. Register today at RotaryWAPF.org.
