Happy Holidays, everyone:

As we approach the midpoint of the Rotary year, it’s a time to reflect on our achievements of the past 5 months and sharpen our focus for the months ahead.

As I've traveled around our district, I've seen new connections, partnerships, projects, members, and growth as a Rotary community. I’m so proud of your collective efforts thus far.

Now is the time to revisit the goals your club (or your club leadership) set at the beginning of the year.  Take the time to celebrate successes, analyze progress, but also adjust – identifying obstacles and opportunities for refinement to reach unmet goals-- for the remainder of the year.  Tracking this progress and having members play a collective role in this effort can help cultivate a mindset of continuous improvement and pave the way for sustained success.

Your contributions to "Every Rotarian, Every Year" are making a significant impact, ranking District 5150 2nd in Zone 27 for per capita giving (as of October 31). THANK YOU! Your contributions are more than gifts of money: they are gifts of impact supporting people near and far.  Also, thank you for a fantastic Yippie Ki Yay For EREY event last month!  Please remember The Rotary Foundation in your year-end charitable giving.

December focuses on Disease Prevention and Treatment, highlighting Rotary's efforts to improve healthcare in underserved communities and fight diseases like Malaria, HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer's, Diabetes, Polio, and more. Thank you to our clubs that support clinics, immunizations, surgeries, transmission surveillance, health education and training (and more).

Secure your early bird registration rate for the Better Together: Multi-District Conference taking place in May 2024! The event will feature RI President Gordon McInally, 500+ Rotarians from around Northern California and Nevada, inspiring speakers, breakouts, celebration and lots of other fun activities and surprises.  Hurry – early bird registration ends December 31!

Thanks for your ongoing Rotary efforts, and best wishes for a joyful holiday season. Remember to continue to Connect, take big leaps, and work together to Create Hope in the World!

Yours in Rotary,
