Ahoy District 5150!
The new Rotary year 2019-2020 has arrived! Your club presidents stand ready, as your Rotary club captains, to take the helm to start this year’s Rotary voyage! I am so honored and excited to step into the District Governor role this year! I, along with the entire District Leadership Team, are ready to support all our District 5150 clubs!
No matter how along you have been a Rotarian, consider your own personal connection to Rotary, and how Rotary has impacted your life for the better, and how many lives your own actions, together with other Rotarians, have changed others’ lives for the better! Also consider how your club can chart a course this year to address an unserved need in your local community so you can connect with those who need help. With our District 5150’s special focus on community service this year, clubs will be able to apply for a $300 Community 2019-2020 Service Grants to start a new project and can pool their funds with other clubs for joint projects. Remember! Alone, we are each a drop of water. Together we are an ocean! We are District 5150!
So, work together to keep those sails trimmed and enjoy your travels together on your 2019-2020 Rotary journey!
