Open, still looking for DDF and/or cash support

The Rotary Club of Redwood City has partnered with the Rotary Club of San Carlos, and is leading the push to compete the aqueduct project begun by the San Carlos Club in Morocco’s High Atlas Mountains.  This project was started by San Carlos Rotarian Steve Carlson, for the benefit of the Berber village that hosted him in the Peace Corps.

This project was featured in the February 2020 issue of Rotarian Magazine.  We are converting an earthen irrigation ditch to a concrete aqueduct to improve the efficiency of water distribution to the locals’ fields.   The San Carlos club is currently finishing construction of the first phase of the project (1500 meters / 0.9 miles), and the Redwood City club is funding the construction of the final 0.4 miles.
