Two major wildfires are burning in Rotary International District 5190, destroying hundreds of structures and displacing entire communities.  Rotary International is at the front- lines, preparing to provide support displaced families once the flames are extinguished. Here are two ways you can support the effort.

Dixie Fire - Plumas, Lassen, Tehama & Butte Counties, California

The Dixie fire began in mid-July and has now become the second largest fire in California history.  Not only did the fire complete destroy the town of Greenville, but has expanded to more than 400,000 acres, impacting thousands of families. The Rotary Club of Greenville has created a GoFundMe fundraiser and donations will be utilized within the community to help support and assist the great people of Greenville.

River Fire - Nevada and Placer Counties

The River Fire is much smaller than the Dixie fire, but has still displaced numerous families and left others evacuated for several days. The Rotary Club of Auburn Gold Country has created a GoFundMe Fund to support local families who have lost everything to the River Fire.  All funds received will go to local fire victims.
