For the month of October, the San Francisco Rotary Club Presidents are pleased to select Sue Rokaw of the Rotary Club of Fisherman’s Wharf as Rotarian of the Month!

Sue Rokaw has given her talents to Rotary both at the Club and District levels. A Master PRLS graduate, she is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Fisherman’s Wharf, a Past Assistant Governor, and currently RYLA Chair and also District 5150 Committee Chair of the Public Relations/Public Image Committee, and a member of the District Visioning team.

Current Fisherman’s Wharf Club President Suzanne Varacalli who nominated Sue wrote: “I am sure Sue has given of her time and intelligence in areas of Rotary I don’t even know about, but it is my personal experience with Sue that inspires this nomination.”

Suzanne further writes: “As a President of a Rotary Club there is nothing better than having a member who understands the dynamics of your Club and can gently nudge and make suggestions before potential issues become issues. Sue does this for me. She teaches me how to get the best from my members and is always ready to help and give support with positive feedback. Sue is making a difference in my experience as President and I am very grateful.”

The San Francisco Rotary Club Presidents agree with Suzanne’s recognition and appreciation of all that Sue has done and continues to do at the Club and District 5150 levels and are very pleased to select Sue as Rotarian of the Month for October 2016!
