Are you a wiz at creating a beautiful flyer? Are you in charge of your club’s website and/or newsletter? Do you enjoy creative writing? Or would you like to advance your skills in any of the above? We are looking for a dedicated group of Rotarians who have a passion for and/or curiosity in public image/public relations. What is public image and public relations?
A strong public image and brand creates credibility and loyalty. When a brand is known for delivering what it promises, the trust that is generated results in a greater feeling of member fulfillment.
Public relations builds connections with a multitude of audiences depending on your organization’s focus. From building relationships with potential new members, the media, government, community, vendors, and even with existing members. A strong PR gets a targeted message to your preferred audience in impactful ways.
The District 5150 Public Image/Public Relations (PIPR) Committee is seeking writers, editors, designers, web masters, and so forth. No experience is required, just a desire to serve creatively with an open mind.
Team PIPR meets virtually at 5:30 p.m. on the 3rd Tuesday of each month.
If you are interested in joining our fun and dynamic team, please contact the PIPR Chairperson Jonathan Nicolas at jonathan@pettinellip.com.
