The 2018-2019 Rotary year has come to a close. What a year it has been! Thank you for your service to communities both locally and globally. Our club presidents were truly inspirational in their efforts to lead our clubs and achieve new heights in the areas of service, foundation giving and membership. Our Assistant Governors and District Leadership Team were also instrumental in guiding clubs in route to reach those goals.
Collectively, we have accomplished many things this year:
- We’ve formed two new Rotary clubs and two new Rotaract clubs. Our membership is growing!
- We expanded our youth services offerings, including greater RYLA participation and new Interact clubs.
- Your support of The Rotary Foundation continues to be strong, with our district ranking 9th out of 530 districts in the world for Per Capita Giving and 47th for overall giving.

Congratulations to our two final District Rotarians of the Month for this year. Rotarian of the Month for May is Keith Axtell of the Rotary Club of Marin Evening. Rotarian of the Month for June is Michelle Tsui of the Rotary Club of Menlo Park.
Now is the time to CELEBRATE all that you have accomplished this year. I know your success will continue in the new Rotary year with District Governor Sue Rokaw.
